Greetings!
I'm happy too announce that we've finally come up with a team name for the World Community Grid project! And that name is...*drum roll*...Blue Star of Hope!
Yeah, I know. Nothing too original, but it works.
Our main goal in creating a team is to pool the points we've earned by letting our computers run the cancer micro-tissue imaging project and hopefully kick the butts of some other World Grid teams.
It's not a serious competition, just something fun to keep track of and acknowledge that your team is ranked so high world-wide.
If you're already a member of the World Community Grid, you have only to click here. The link should take you directly to where you need to be in order to join the Blue Star of Hope team.
If you are not yet a member, and would like to be, then return to my blog (click on "Cheryl's Blog" located on the right-hand side of the page) and view the post titled "A Message from Steve & Kathy." My dad has posted instructions for how to join the World Community Grid project.
Questions? Comments? Feel free to post them here and hopefully my dad or I can answer them.
Thanks for joining the team!
